My most notable earlier work starts with my GCSE final piece painted at 15 yrs old. Shortly after, I began to paint in a cubist style, blown away after seeing Duchamps ´ Nude Descending a Staircase. Technical drawing at college and the study of early renaissance artists then awoke a fascination with perspective within paintings using light and scale to create depth. More recently, I have been exploring the relatively new style of hyperrealism and the three-dimensional qualities you can create within a flat canvas.
